On October 5th The Carytown Farmers Market hosted a national television show for an upcoming episode of their new show called Flip My Food(flipmyfood.com). They have been travelling the country the past few months filming at different locations. They will be at the State Fair on Saturday and then with us on Sunday before leaving the area. Flip My Food airs on over 100 stations across the country, including channel Wupv Cw Richmond.
After shopping the market, some of our own market vendors will “flip” their favorite dishes alongside Chef Jeff into dining experiences that taste better, have fewer calories and are fun to cook. This daily series will give viewers the ultimate take-away, they’ll be able to enjoy their favorite “guilty food pleasures” more often and feel good about it in the process.
